PCA’s Student Government Association is very excited for this year’s Homecoming Week on October 4-8. The theme is “Light up the Lions” and includes decor inspired by Hollywood.

October 6: Upper School Volleyball Powderpuff Tournament | 2 PM | PCA Gym
October 7: Homecoming Parade | 2 PM
October 7: Upper School Dodgeball Tournament | 2:30 PM
October 7: Pep Rally | 6:00 PM | Panther Stadium
October 8: Panthers vs. Central High School Lions | 7:00 PM
October 8: Homecoming Court Presentation | Halftime

Dress-Up Days
Students in grades K3-12 are encouraged to participate! Students must bring a charitable item to participate in themed days or dress casually any day of this week by wearing this year’s homecoming shirt and donating to the day’s charity.

October 4: Celeb’s Day Off (Pajama Day)
Students may wear appropriate pajamas! No open, see through, cut, or ripped clothing. No lingerie or overly tight clothing. 

Items will be collected for Mercy House. Requested items include toiletries, paper towels, laundry detergent, and dish towels.

October 5: LA vs. AL (Hollywood Glam vs Country Attire)
Students may dress in Hollywood favorites, including dresses, suits, red carpet looks, and anything representing LA or country classics, including boots, hats, camo, USA, and anything that represents Alabama. All dresses and shorts must be the appropriate length.

Items will be collected for the Salvation Army. Requested items are new socks. 

October 6: Who’s Your Hero? (Marvel vs. DC Day)
Students may dress in full costume! Super hero shirts are allowed, but the design must be evident which character you are portraying.

Items will be collected for Autauga Interfaith Center. Requested items include canned goods, boxed foods, coffee, flour, sugar, etc.

October 7: Play with the Pros (Jersey or Panther Spirit Day)
Students may wear college, high school, or pro jerseys. Or go all out in a full sports uniform There is no charitable donation requested on this day. 

October 8: School Holiday
This is a school holiday so there are no dress up activities.
