Welcome to the Prattville Christian Academy Band!
The PCA Band is a growing music program where students have the opportunity to learn an instrument, develop their musical skills, build confidence, and experience the joy of making music together.
PCA’s band was re-founded in the 2025-2026 school year! Our goal is to create an environment where students are challenged to grow as musicians while also learning important qualities such as discipline, teamwork, responsibility, perseverance, and leadership.
Whether a student is picking up an instrument for the very first time or continuing to develop skills they already have, there is a place for them in the PCA Band!
What We Do:
Throughout the school year, our band students have opportunities to perform and share their hard work with the PCA community, including:
- Christmas Concert
- Spring Concert
- School performances
- Athletic event performances
- Community events and Christmas parade
The PCA Band is also continuing to grow its performance opportunities as our program develops.
Why Join the Band?
Band is about more than learning to play an instrument. Students learn how to:
- Work together as a team
- Practice and develop new skills
- Set goals and work toward them
- Take responsibility for their role in an ensemble
- Build confidence through performance
- Encourage and support their classmates
- Develop leadership skills
- Create lasting memories with their friends
Most importantly, students get to be part of something bigger than themselves.
