PCA’s Lower School students enjoy dedicated times each week to experience God through scripture reading, song, dance, and prayer by incorporating the age-appropriate spiritual theme selected for the school year.
2026-2027 Spiritual Theme
“Who do you say that I am?”
Jesus answered His own question by saying, “I am the light of the world. Anyone who follows me will never walk in the darkness but will have the light of life.” — John 8:12
As we go through the upcoming school year, our Lower School students will be challenged to consider Jesus’ important question to His disciples: “Who do you say that I am?” Through the theme “Illumination Station,” students will explore who Jesus is and discover how His light brings hope, truth, joy, and direction to our lives.
Throughout the year, students will be encouraged to recognize the ways Jesus shines His light into their own lives and to consider how they can reflect His light to those around them. As they grow in their understanding of who Jesus is, we pray they will grow closer to Him and learn to follow His light in every part of their lives.
