Safety is the top priority of PCA’s faculty and staff during morning drop-off and afternoon pick-up times. To ensure the safety of all students and drivers on campus, we require these guidelines to be observed during peak times.

  • Use the designated crosswalks and crossing guards on campus
  • Cell phone use is prohibited while driving on campus
  • Follow the speed limit at all times
  • Do not exit the vehicle while in a car line
  • Use turn signals when exiting campus onto Old Farm Lane
  • In morning drop-off, students must be ready to exit the vehicle immediately
  • In afternoon pick-up, pull to the front of car line regardless of where the student is standing
  • Lower school parents must not enter the building after 3 p.m.; give the student’s name to the faculty member on duty to have them called out

Preschool

The school day is from 8:15 to 3:00 PM. Students may be dropped off at the Lower School side entrance – the PreK entrance – near the playground between 7 o’clock and 8:15 AM. The preferred method of drop off is to drive behind Hunter Hills Church in one lane along with the elementary traffic and enter with the lower school families. Once parents pull onto the campus, instead of driving to the right in front of the school, you will go straight to the side PreK entrance. You can pull in front of this entrance or park in the spots to the left to walk your students into the entrance. You will then go to the exit area of that parking lot. A diagram is available by clicking here.

For afternoon pick-up, parents should drive behind Hunter Hills Church and enter the single lane directly adjacent to the church sidewalk if picking up before 3:05. If picking up after 3:05 p.m., enter the lane with Lower School parents and follow the same directions as Pre-K drop off. A diagram is available by clicking here. All students who have not been picked up by 3:30 p.m. will be sent to after school care and can be picked up from the same PreK entrance.

All students who’ve not been picked up by 3:30 p.m. will be sent to After School Care.
