ALEA’s Nonprofit Security Grant Program

We are excited to announce that PCA was recently awarded a grant through ALEA’s Nonprofit Security Grant Program. Prattville Christian Academy is seeking proposals for the following projects.

1) Public Notification System for the Upper School – Intercom/alert system that includes 41 indoor ceiling tile speakers (classrooms, bathrooms, offices), 4 indoor speaker/horns (gymnasium), 3 outdoor speaker horns, 3 emergency displays, 1 wireless panic button. Intercom system must be usable from any office phone and have two-way communication to all rooms. Combining speakers/displays/horns is permissible if it achieves equivalent performance.

2) Public Notification System for the Lower School – Intercom/alert system that includes 42 indoor ceiling tile speakers (classrooms, bathrooms, offices), 8 indoor speakers (athletic complex buildings), 6 outdoor speaker horns, 1 wireless panic button. Intercom system must be usable from any office phone and have two-way communication to all rooms. Combining speakers/displays/horns is permissible if it achieves equivalent performance.

3) Perimeter fencing around the sides of the buildings and in between the upper and lower schools. Will need to include approximately 350 feet of 8’ galvanized chain link fence, with one 16’ double gate. 105 feet of 6’ ornamental fence, with one 14’ double gate, and two 5’ single gates. Will need to remove portions of the existing fence and gate and relocate an 8′ gate.

Proposals should include all installation charges, material, and labor. Suppliers must comply with the “Build America, Buy America” provisions of the Infrastructure Investment and Jobs Act and E.O. 14005. Suppliers must be authorized to participate in federal assistance programs and/or activities.
