PCA’s Hannah Rousseau Signs Soccer Scholarship
Prattville Christian Academy’s Hannah Rousseau signed an athletic scholarship to play soccer at Faulkner University in Montgomery, Alabama.
Rousseau has been a tremendous asset as an attacking midfielder for the Lady Panthers. She enters her senior year with a chance to shatter PCA soccer records as she currently holds third in career goals scored and fourth in assists. She is tied for the school’s best single game record of six points; four goals and two assists during the Ellwood Christian game in 2015.
The Lady Panthers went 9-4-1 during last season and finished in the top 16 teams in the state. Rousseau’s knowledge of the game and maturity will lead the team to a competitive season with a chance at state. “Hannah is an all-around soccer player. She has the skills to play any of the field positions,” said Coach Jim Graham. “She started with our girl’s soccer program in it’s first year as a middle schooler and is the one girl that most represents our rise from a beginning, struggling team to a winning playoff team with a college-level player.”
