Grandparent’s Day

PCA hosted its annual celebration of grandparents on Monday, September 14. We were thrilled to welcome more than 200 grandparents of K3-3rd grade students. The hallways were buzzing with excitement and squeals as the students greeted their grandparents.

Our grandparents enjoyed refreshments, handmade gifts, a photo session with their little ones and for most, a special trip to the PCA’s book fair.

“As a grandparent, I am so thankful for the fact that we ask our students to honor their elders.  Although I hope that it lasts for more than one day, this day serves as a reminder that these are special people who are involved in the lives of the children,” said Elementary and Middle School Principal Rachael Heartsill.
