Multipurpose Building Ribbon Cutting
Prattville Christian Academy officially opened the new multipurpose athletic building with a ribbon cutting ceremony on November 30. The building is a result of the hard work of many and an answer to numerous prayers, as it will primarily serve as the practice facility for PCA’s Wrestling Team.
“The new facility will assist in the continual growth of the wrestling program by allowing the team to have a place to train,” said Coach Staggs, PCA’s head wrestling coach. “This environment will help facilitate the growth of the team, not just as athletes but as Christian men along with aiding in the development of a future youth program that will feed the high school program.”
The multipurpose building was generously funded by the 2013-2015 PCA Booster Clubs through various fundraising efforts, including concession sales, apparel sales, Garrett Coliseum concession sales and Booster Club membership dues. The new building will be utilized for all sports, as needed, and will serve as an additional space for events and gatherings.
“The addition of a multipurpose athletic building will help continue our road to excellence in athletics,” said Ron Mitchell, PCA president. “We appreciate the PCA Booster Club for funding the building which will support our wresting program and other athletic needs.”
This building will also further the PCA mission of growing Christian leaders for life through athletics, as coaches and mentors train athletes to shine for God. We appreciate your support of the PCA Booster Club as it supports Prattville Christian Academy.
