PCA Athletic Director Named NIAAA Delegate
Prattville Christian Academy was fortunate to have one of only two delegates for the state of Alabama at the National Interscholastic Athletic Administrators Association (NIAAA) conference in December 2015.
Tara Osborne, PCA Athletic Director, was asked to represent Alabama along with Denise Ainsworth from the Alabama High School Athletic Association (AHSAA) at the annual National Athletic Directors Conference. While at the conference, Coach Osborne was also asked to become certified to administer the Certified Athletic Administrator (CAA) exam and mentor to other athletic directors coming behind her in this profession.
As she reflected back on her time at the conference, she said “I always learn so much from this conference that helps me better serve my coaches, student athletes and PCA.” She is already looking ahead to next year’s conference where she will begin the journey to becoming a Certified Master Athletic Administrator (CMAA) through the National Interscholastic Athletic Administrators Association.
We are fortunate to have not only one of the few female athletic directors in the industry but more importantly such an amazing example of Christ among us each day. Please join us in congratulating Coach Osborne on her accomplishments!
