PCA Soccer Program Sets School & AHSAA Records

 In School News

Prattville Christian Academy’s Varsity Soccer season ended yesterday in tough match ups for both the girls and boys team. The Panthers finished the season 13-6-1 while the Lady Panthers earned 9-4-1. However, this season didn’t end without a few players setting new records for PCA and the Alabama High School Athletic Association (AHSAA).

PCA senior, Austin Damron has been dominating the game for nearly four years. As he closes out his high school soccer career, he’s earned the following achievements.

– Eighth most goals goals scored in a season in AHSAA history with 47

– Seventh most goals scored in a career in AHSAA history with 10

– Most goals scored in one game in AHSAA history with 11

Another PCA senior has also been competing hard this season. Coleman Wright ended his high school soccer career with the following records as well.

– Most assists in one game in AHSAA history with 9

– Ninth most assists in one season in AHSAA history with 26

Thank you to Coach Graham and the soccer coaching staff for their dedication to the sport, PCA’s student athletes and most importantly, honoring God.

Go Panthers!
