PCA’S ZACH TAYLOR SIGNS ATHLETIC SCHOLARSHIP

Prattville Christian Academy is proud to announce that Zach Taylor accepted an athletic scholarship to run track at The University of Mobile in Mobile, Alabama.

Taylor is an exceptionally self-motivated athlete who continually pushes himself to accomplish his goals. As a senior, he was selected by his teammates to serve as the Cross Country team captain. He was instrumental in designing team workouts in a fun yet challenging manner and continually encouraged others to push harder and do their best.

“It has been my honor to coach Zach Taylor. He is a great young man and dedicated leader on and off the track. He sets high goals for himself and works to achieve them,” said Ken Lantz, PCA Cross Country head coach. “He has also shown tremendous improvement in just the two years that I have been his coach. In the 5K, he has improved from a time of 21:29 to a personal best of 17:52; that’s an amazing improvement of 3:37 in just a few months.”
