Grandparent’s Day Celebration

PCA hosted its annual celebration of grandparents on Monday, September 12. We welcomed more than 225 grandparents of students in grades K3-3. The hallways were buzzing with excitement and squeals as the students greeted their grandparents and eagerly toured them through their classrooms and other special areas on campus.

Our grandparents enjoyed refreshments, handmade gifts, a photo session with their little ones and for most, a special trip to the PCA’s book fair.

“As a grandparent, I am so thankful that we ask our students to honor their elders.  Although I hope that it lasts for more than one day, this day serves as a reminder that these are special people who are involved in the lives of the children,” said Rachael Heartsill, Elementary and Middle School Principal.
