Kathryn Fallen Signs Division I Softball Scholarship with Samford University

PCA is proud to announce its first Division I softball scholarship in the history of the program. Kathryn Fallen committed to Samford University during a signing ceremony in the school’s gym.

Kathryn has been a tremendous asset to the Lady Panthers since becoming one of the team’s starters in just the seventh grade. She has played outfield, first base and most recently, catcher as the team clinched the 3A state championship last season. Kathryn holds the team record for most home runs in a season (12) and career (28) as well as most hits (72) and RBI’s (76) in a season. Since 2015, she has been named All-Metro and All-State numerous times.

In the 258 games played for the Lady Panthers so far, Kathryn has earned:

“Kat is a pacesetter and leader for our team, said Coach Stough, PCA’s head softball coach. “She leads by example and pushes others to be better. Her work ethic extends beyond the field into the classroom as well. We are extremely proud for her to be going to Samford next fall.”
