PCA’s Stillman Davis Signs Letter of Intent with Huntingdon College

 In Athletics

Prattville Christian Academy is proud to announce that Stillman Davis signed a Letter of Intent with Huntingdon College, an NCAA Division III school, to continue his baseball career at the collegiate level. He signed with the Hawks during a ceremony last week in front of family, friends, and teammates.

While injuries and COVID-19 have plagued PCA’s baseball teams that didn’t stop Stillman Davis from making the most of this high school baseball experience. Davis is a multi-sport athlete playing basketball and football in addition to his first athletic love, baseball. Davis played as a pitcher and first baseman during his varsity career, and is often credited with his hard work and dedication to his teammates. He is described as a “gentle giant” because of his quiet leadership style despite his towering 6’ 4” frame.

“I’m glad Stillman has stuck to his dream of playing college baseball,” said Tommy Goodson, PCA’s head baseball coach. “He has great dedication, talent, and the desire to play – you can’t ask for more from a student-athlete. Huntingdon is getting a great young man!”

“I am so excited for Stillman to have the opportunity to play college athletics,” said Tara Osborne, PCA’s athletic director. “Collegiate sports are hard work, but Stillman has always had a great work ethic and attitude. He’s always wearing a smile and is truly one of the most respectful students I’ve had the pleasure of watching grow up in our athletic program.”
