Love Like Lexi Project Assembly
October 3 at 10:00 a.m., PCA will have a presentation of the Love Like Lexi Project for students in grades 6-12. Before the assembly, there will be a parent assembly on Monday evening, October 2, at 6:00 p.m., which parents are highly encouraged to attend.
The Love Like Lexi Project exists in memory of Lexi Webb, a high-schooler at Smith Station who will always be remembered for how she loved others. The project aims to raise awareness of suicide and reminds students of what they need to hear: how they have value, hope, and purpose. The organization’s mission is to empower students to be a part of the solution while helping give students the tools they need to navigate life’s challenges.
Students in grades 8-12 will participate in the “LLL” Workbook designed to build resilience, problem-solving, personal reflection, and self-awareness of one’s values and character. The workbook is a toolkit needed to help create a permanent positive change in each student individually.
Once you have reviewed the videos and information below, should you choose for your student not to participate, please complete the attached form and return it to Mrs. Dean.
