PCA Names New Athletic Director, Craig Duncan

 In Athletics

Prattville Christian Academy is pleased to announce the hiring of its new Athletic Director, Craig Duncan. Coach Duncan has a wealth of experience, including serving as an athletic director and as a head coach of wrestling, football, golf, track, baseball, and basketball. His most noted accomplishments have occurred in wrestling in which he has won multiple state championships, and has helped to build and further establish wrestling programs at Hooper Academy, Saint James, Huntingdon College, and most recently at Pike Road. Coach Duncan was named a National Wrestling Coaches Association Coach of the Year for the Alabama Chapter in 2013 and was inducted into the National Wrestling Hall of Fame in 2024. Coach Duncan was chosen as the Athletic Director for PCA because of his faith in Christ, the wealth of experience he offers, the way he has been able to help many athletes reach their potential, the care and compassion he displays for athletes and coaches, and for the accomplishments he has made in building programs. Coach Duncan had this to say about joining PCA:

“I find great enjoyment in striving for the best for families and their students, and seeing those students thrive. It is an honor and a goal to impact the lives of these young student athletes. It’s not just about sports, but teaching lifelong lessons that help shape them into becoming good adults, spouses, and parents. I hope to strengthen mindsets and grow potential among players.”
