PCA Drama Performance: May 1-2, 2015
The PCA Drama Club would like to invite you to a ‘play within a play’ mystery called Rehearsal for Murder. Written by Richard Levinson and William Link, the same writers famous for creating television hits: Murder She Wrote andColumbo. Set on a Broadway stage in the 1980s, a year has passed since movie star Monica Welles died on the night of her premiere.
Circumstances surrounding her death led investigators to deem the tragic event a suicide. However, Monica’s fiancée and Broadway playwright, Alex Dennison, is convinced that Monica’s life was not taken by her own hand, but by someone present the night of the show. Alex has written a new play, a mystery, and has invited everyone back to rehearsal for murder.
There will be two performances held at Hunter Hills Church on Friday evening, May 1st at 6:30 PM and Saturday afternoon, May 2nd at 3 PM. All tickets are $5 each until April 30th. Tickets will be $7 each at the door before each performance. Tickets can be purchased at the front desk of the Elementary and Secondary buildings or through a Drama Club member.
