We are pleased to announce that Katie Furr has been selected as the Junior High/High School Principal, effective June 1, 2016. Katie has been an integral part of the senior leadership team at PCA for the past few years and will be an excellent servant leader in this important position.

We are also pleased to announce that Kim Stephenson has been selected as the new Academic Director, effective June 1, 2016, as well. Kim has been working closely with Katie in this area and is more than prepared for this new challenge. This position will allow her to put her Ed.S. degree to work as we continue to move forward while glorifying God.
Kim began her teaching career in 2000 as an after school tutor at Huntingdon Learning Center before moving to PCA in 2005 to teach music and eventually settled into her current role as a third grade teacher. Mrs. Stephenson graduated from Auburn Montgomery with a Bachelor of Science in Biology and a Master’s Degree in Elementary Education and an Education Specialist in Elementary Education. She is currently pursuing a gifted certification to accompany her Ed.S., from the University of Alabama. She is married to Adam Stephenson and they have four children; Emily (17), Rachel (16), Nicolas (13) and Drew (11).
Please join us in congratulating these professionals and pray for their transition and success in their new positions.
