Tumbling Their Way to the Top: PCA’s Outstanding Performance in Orlando

 In Athletics, School News

ORLANDO, Fla. — The UCA National High School Cheerleading Championships (NHSCC), the country’s most prestigious high school cheer championship, has been the season’s zenith for cheerleaders nationwide for over 40 years.

Between February 10 and 12, PCA’s competition cheer team made yet another appearance at NHSCC in Orlando, Florida.

This year, however, was different from the other trips.

Of course, the team had the opportunity to enjoy a lively, team-building visit to Disney World, but the trip wasn’t all leisure: PCA achieved 8th out of 37 teams in the Small Gameday Co-ed Division. This sets the school record for Prattville Christian Academy Cheerleading by making it to finals and placing 8th in the nation.
